New Rail

Two truths, one lie... or two lies, one truth?
1. Julien collects hair pieces he cut from random girls in the metro.
2. Julien's mom is a member of Harvard's alumi.
3. Julien is hispanic
Can you find it out?

On another hand, there is no doubt that Julien casually coasted this newly found rail in a smooth nosepress.

Sherby Dirty City. take two.

Back flip Kid. The only thing that kid wanted to do was some backflips. He didn't stop asking us to backflip off our 7.5 feet starter.
He even back flipped of the top of a random car. All the kids told us he jumped from the 3 story high school you see in the back. ''Je fais du Wamakasi, ya pas de problème"
Infamous, dropping it switch. His switch five-o shot's comming in real soon.
El bino, smooth sailling it.
René's brother Léo taking his skate skills to his snowboard. Five-o.
Too bad Js couldn't make it to sherbrooke this weekend. School Exams are comming in, and fast! Props man. So Cal is just around the corner!

Ciseau by Nick Zik

Again, we traveled a long way to get to this rail. Once we get there, we unpacked the starter, the spot light, the shovel and the 5000watt industrial generator to realise we had no extansion cords. The store were closed so we had shitty lighting.

Fail!

Perfect Rail

Rene Caza, Anto C. and I went to Trois-Rivières for 2 days. Macko joined us on the second day. We crashed at Frank Mireault's house (thx bud). We shot two rails; a wooden one and the so called Perfect Rail.

Late afternoon fun

We couldn't just sit at home doing our homeworks with all that snow and this little glimpse of sunshine we had this afternoon. Quick, late afternoon session.

Julien setting a new trend; nose grabs out

This is very gnarly as there is another rail sitting in the middle of the landing... at a 90 degree angle. Julien is deep into purple this year.

Julien LV at it again.

This trick is without a doubt the crazyest thing my Macbook pro as ever captured. Tow in snowboarding, it's night, the set up is skecthy and the ledge is gnarly and not very smooth, but that, Julien doesn't care! Lot's of gaz and laps later....

My 5 favorite pictures of 2006-2007

#1 Macko, b-lip
D70, Tamron 11-18, B&G Polarizing filter
Charlow, second hit, got the shot. I love the colors about this one and the dynamic expressed by Macko.

#2 Julien Lauzon, blip - to sw fb, Mont Royal
D70, Nikon 28-70 f3.5-4
Probably the most hitted rail in Montreal. Julien brought his own flavor to the rail; tight jeans and gnarly blind sided tricks.

#3 Julien Lauzon, bs180 switch tailpress
Nikon D70, Tamron 11-18, B&G Polarizing filter
We were driving beside that rail very often and never thought this would it was really doable, the run in is extra short. Julien decided we should give it a try. It turned out to be worth it.

#4 Young Gun Alex Lopes, Front Board Pretzel, Stadium Rail (RIP)
Nikon D70 setted steadily on manfrotto 055clb + 488RC2, Tamron 11-18, B&G Polarizing filter
Young portuguese Alex totally killed it at this session.

#5 Macko, Backside tailpress
D70, Tamron 11-18
I really like this picture. Macko came up with this angle idea for this trick, it turned out awesome.

A rail called Kenky

So we headed near the water, to a new rail Nic Zic (Universe) found. The rail was very kinky, there was a tree right in the middle of the landing but that's nothing to discourage our Carebears (Calinours en français) look-alike courageous shredders.

Love-a-lot Macko

Merciernaries

Last week's session in Mercier was almost a complete failure. We got there in late afternoon because we got stuck in traffic. The 132 to get there is like a blvd Tashereau but indian flavored. Which means there are tax less, maybe illegal cigarette shack every 10 meters and those giantnormous ads from companies we've never heard of.
